Making your own perfectly crisp and thin french fries could be a very elusive task. Most of the time, the end result just wouldn't be quite right, not enough crisp or lightness or saltiness or ugly shape or all those things combined. Coming to the rescue so valiantly is Kenji Lopez -probably of Japanese and Mexican descent (which is pretty awesome)- from the website A Hamburger Today that has recently posted quite a comprehensive article about the subject.
For the quest of making the perfect fries, he's using McD's french fries as the point-of-reference of a great fries. And we're not arguing with that. Kenji started the article with the anatomy of a perfect fry and broke down the factors that go into making it, with the recipe included, of course. A fantastic dedication to the art and technique of french fries making. Check it out HERE and make your own perfect fries.

London-based marketing agency, Work Club, just had Bart to come over their office and rewrite every single line he has ever written as punishment on the Springfield Elementary School blackboard on the 22 m long blackboard on their office wall.
Apparently every six months, the agency invites an emerging artists to
decorate the wall. This time they got illustrator Matt Wiliams as the El Barto. It took 2 days, 20 white markers, 288 lines and 7,697 characters. Check it out here to see the whole thing where you can zoom and pan side to side.
