DAILY BLOG
Amsterdam-based menswear label Daily Paper has had a penchant for bold patterns and African-inspired motifs. The same rings true for Spring/Summer 2014 as the label looks to the ancient Kuba Kingdom of 16th century Africa – a group of roughly 20 tribes in the Congo’s Kasai region – for its latest release. Known for its beauty and precision, the Kuba’s signature aesthetic is reflected in distinctive geometric patterns and bright colors across well-tailored staples like tees, denim shirts, bomber jackets, chore coats, and embroidered shorts.
