This very well known British brand Fred Perry is happy to announce their latest collection that is called 45′s, released under Fred Perry SS14 Men’s Authentic Collection. A vinyl inspired collection of 8 pieces which celebrates the unique relationship between Fred Perry and British music and youth culture, see detail drawn from 45 RPM records and 80′s record design, each design with graphic color references of collectable singles and 80′s ska boy styling. The 45 RPM record was first introduced in 1949 as a smaller replacement for heavy 78 RPM records used then, and became an instant hit amongst adolescents as each genre of music had its own colour of vinyl. A monochrome collection with colour pop detailing seen on the underside of shirt plackets, lining and logos, key pieces include 45’s Engineered Stripe Shirt, Brace Print Shirts which features parallel prints like the era’s ‘uniform’ braces, Monochrome Graphic Knit Shirt, Houndstooth Stripe Cardigan and Checkerboard Trim Shirt.
