At a glance, the Phantom Corsair might look like the Batmobile, without the cannons, rockets, and all. It was a prototype car built in 1938 that accommodates six passengers and was designed by Rust Heinz. Heinz had the intention to produce the car in limited numbers, but fate proved otherwise.
His demise in a car accident in July 1939 put his plans to a halt, leaving the prototype Phantom Corsair as the sole assembled unit in the world.
