The Triumph Thruxton remains one of the most popular platforms for custom bike builders, and the Australian based crew at Mean Machines uses this bike to show us exactly why they are some of the best in the business. Typically we see older bikes being built on the custom scene, but Mean Machines opted for a 2013 Triumph Thruxton this time around. Led by Wenley Andrews, the team created a motorcycle that is simple, yet unique at the same time. To start the build, Wenley stripped the bike all the way down to the engine and swing arm, essentially starting from scratch. The Triumph has been outfitted with fork gaiters, a custom built molded fiberglass fender, and a custom bracket to house that 5-inch headlight up front. Crowned the “Buster,” this 2-wheeler has been finished off in a matte black paint job paired with a hand made suede seat, complete with diamond stitching. Check out some of the photos below.
